I’ve read through the sunk cost kata presentation linked in the second paragraph here and it seems pretty impressively useful, as well as being suited to the theme of ‘practical rationality’. Also, if it helps Anna and Eliezer, and it does:

To that end, I’m going to present the sunk cost kata presentation and we’ll work through the worksheets. I expect it will take at most one hour.
You will need to bring some loose change. Around 20 cents will do.
I expect to be there.
bah I really want to get in on these, but I’d have to train it in from Ballarat!

Okay it’s Monday night and I am really struggling to summon the motivation to go for my walk even though I’m a day late and none of my usual online chatting friends are around so I’m using fear of humiliation in front of people I respect as a motivational tool.
If I don’t go out for my walk within the next five minutes I want everyone at this meetup to express disappointment at me.
