My internship has a donation match. I want to donate to something life-extension related; tentatively looking at SENS, but I have some questions:
How can I quantify the expected value of money donated? The relevant metric would be “increase in the probability of me personally experiencing dramatic life extension.” I have no idea how to go about estimating this, but this determines whether I want to save the money to spend on myself vs. donate it.
What other major reputable organizations are there in the biological life extension sphere? Are there any that could use additional money better than SENS?
