Tried the Loop Hero… and was quite disappointed. Yes, placing the terrain cards is the worst, you need to do it over and over again, probably several hundred or thousand times if you want to complete the game… I only did it like ten times and then quit.
To me it feels like a game that can’t decide between being active or idle. It’s not really active, because there is very little to do, and it’s not really idle, because if you stop paying attention for a few minutes, you get punished by losing your progress since the last reset. So you need to keep watching, once in a while place the terrain cards, and click reset before you run of out HP… and do this over and over again.
