Personally, I expect to be dead in the usual way by the middle of this century at the latest, and even if I had myself frozen, I don’t expect cryonic revival to be possible by 2117. I am not expecting a Singularity by then either. Twenty-year-olds today might reasonably have a hope of life extension of the necessary amount.
ETA2: A little sooner than that, there’s a transit of the Earth from Mars in 2084. Anyone up for that?
A Transit of Venus finished a few hours ago. (100% overcast where I am, alas.)
The next one is in 2117. How many of us expect to see it?
ETA: So far, one nitpick and one Singularitarian prediction.

From Earth it’s in 2117. From a high orbit around the Earth, there will be many transits of Venus in a few next decades.
We should not see that in 2117, since we should turn our Solar system to some useware before then.
