Instead, I’m saying that you generally want to keep your sugar consumption down, and that’s a lot easier if you’re not adding large amounts of it to your fruit.

I looked at the sugar levels, and they’re pretty different:
100g raspberry jam: 46g sugar
100g raspberries: 5g sugar
