Base rates aren’t great, though nonzero (including recently: Wikipedia, stackoverflow, elicit, reddit kinda, chatgpt kinda). There are a thousand ignored tools for every popular one. But there are truly new software potentials right now, and really great stuff could see wide uptake.
Failing very widespread uptake, targeted distribution among those who have existing demand and discernment for well-grounded, full-picture background research is a satisfactory fallback (and perhaps beachhead).
