If you have an AI that can easily generate child porn graphics, this plausibly[1] very significantly increases the amount of such materials on the internet. Young people are gonna encounter porn at some point, nearly inevitably, before they reach adulthood/[advanced enough teenagehood], but plz maybe not this.
It seems plausible to me that youth access to pornography is going to decrease rapidly as a function of a more censored and monitored internet. While the total quantity may still increase, what would matter is something like the total number of ways one might be able to access it by accident, which I would expect to decrease.

I presume that, given that it’s not directly downstream from child abuse, it will not be nearly as strongly prosecuted.
