You’re right about that, but the problem with lack of motivation persists even during times when I can set my own schedule and get as much sleep as I need. (Well, to put it precisely, not sleeping enough guarantees that I won’t get anything done out of my own choice, but sleeping enough doesn’t guarantee that I will, not even closely.)
