I feel like my life is a constant series of impromptu Find me Parties, for work I am often meeting people for the first time in busy environments and have to communicate where I am to obvious landmarks efficiently. ”Oh yeah, I see you” is a frequently utterance.
And the dreaded meeting up at the pub “we’re at the back, in the beer garden” only to see there’s about 10 different tables and your friends are likely having their backs to the door.
One interesting (re: stressful) variant I’ve experienced is picking up my SO while she’s walking. Even if I manage to correctly determine which side of a double carriage road she is walking along, there’s the added complication of determining if there is a safe place to pull-over or ample parking spaces near her.
