For me personally, it seems fairly clear that x-risk oriented organizations are the most important ones in the field of philanthropy. That’s why I take the FHI/SI debate so seriously, and that’s why I asked why paper_machine felt that the claim was obviously off base. Are the other organizations worth looking into seriously as optimal philanthropy?
