It seems relevant to you presumably because the idea has some aesthetic appeal to you, not because God wrote it on a stone tablet or anything.
I think once people recognize that questions that seem to be about “objective morality” are really usually questions about their own moral preferences, they tend to abandon system-building in favor of self-knowledge.
