The word propaganda originally means “the spreading (of the faith); dissemination; or that which is to be spread” — from the agricultural concept of spreading seeds, to propagate a crop plant.
But I keep also seeing the word pagan in there, and thinking of it as “that which is to be spread to the hill people”. This is grammatically wrong, but it’s sticky.
