I don’t think your child dying is the worst thing that can happen to you. It’s not torture, it’s not horrible pain. It’s not hell. If what you wrote about cluster headaches is true, then that might be hell. But children dying is not.
Depends on how long the pain/torture is, and whether you recover from the damage afterwards. The dead child remains dead forever.
