Dumbledore was lengthening his circadian cycle by 2 hours per day. But then Harry was using the Time-Turner to go back 6 hours per day. That leads to a net of the sleep schedule going back 4 hours per day, so I think Sinclair was taking all the above into account.
In HPMOR, Harry has this big medical kit. But he doesn’t exercise and has no qualms messing up his sleep schedule by 4 hours of jet lag a day
