This is an excellent first post on the site. Rationality is about thinking in ways that systematically lead to truth, and to do that requires looking at your mind, noticing it’s flaws, and changing it. You’re doing rationality here.
Reading your post, it seems you’ve come to better understand the ways in which you were not focusing on understanding reality. The right next step, I believe, is to then follow this route and engage more directly with reality—getting more practical, and not being satisfied with mere ‘dialectical knowledge’, as you say.
If you do and do that (perhaps write some useful software, or a build useful contraption with a 3D printer), will you please write a post about what you did and what you learned? I’d be thrilled to read it.

I also want to work on keeping score on my judgments and getting better at detecting & analysing my mistakes. I will definitely write more about it when the moment comes.
