Because we are into the 4th day of October, and nobody else has made an Open Thread post yet.
This thread is for the discussion of Less Wrong topics that have not appeared in recent posts. If a discussion gets unwieldy, celebrate by turning it into a top-level post.
Um, nobody made one because the discussion area is expected to have made them obsolete?
