I was pointed to a small channel where a guy has been artisanally crafting 20-min anime episodes, and that one’s significantly better. Still got uncanny movements/some dud scenes, but with more human taste/guidance, the video skill is getting pretty close to there (when measured in relation to a low-budged actual anime production). So with a little more human overwatch, you can get significantly better results compared to your more llm-heavy attempt.
He says “I used Seedance 2 and put it together in Davinci” in a pinned comment on the first episode. Also like you, I’m given to understand that the series is based on an existing manga, and that his part is the video, not the story.
