It would make the framework more complete if it also models how the US government is influenced by US companies.
Nvidia has successfully taken control of the AI chips export controll narrative, killed it, and reanimated it as AI stack export encouragement. Reversed export control on H20s by paying for million dollar dinners at Mar a Lago. This deserves some attention.
I understand it’s easy to go into moral panic mode, and I think it’s important to avoid that and focus on the dynamics and incentives here.
