I would do this, though I would prefer better.
As I understnad the Verthandi are pretty much human, they are just arranged and apportionated to be perfectly complimentary to humans.

People keep touching on the whole Dark Lord/ Hero thing but nobody is looking at it really directly.
Everything that Eliezir says here is very good and correct but in imaginary worlds with magic, there is a lot more personal power: not just for the Chosen One but for anybody able to rise to the challenge.
Note that the teachers of Hogwarts are not ONLY very knowledgeable, advanced professors who appear to do some original research; they also include a romantic hero, a mighty and very morally ambiguous antihero, and several other VERY HIGH POWERED characters that do not have to depend on others.
One might want to consider Girl Genius, as while very much not mundane it includes people who achieve this sort of personal power through technologcal means. It’s set in a war-torn Europe with a LOT of techlevel variation, and ‘sparks’; mad scientists (engineers, really) who can enter a state of hyper-focus in which they can design and build combat robots and ludicrously powerful laser guns in a matter of hours, but tend to do so in a bizzare, completely irrational fashion. In this world, most people of any power (which means lots of European nobles) are mad scientists.
In our world, the diligent can become an engineer and even as an individual can build devices that amaze and awe the common folk; I have done this myself. The gifted can be much better at this; and the gifted and lucky can rise to the top of the field. One sees people such as university professors; nobel prize winners
In romantic magical worlds, the professor who invents the next generation of robots and teaches me to be the next generation of roboticists would be deciding whether to burn the world to the ground or save it from those who would, and all by his own power.
Take a third option.
I find the ideas of courtesans somehow less… creepy than nonsentient catgirls.
Also, If you are capable of creating catgirls you are capable of creating the Dating Advice AI?
Also, ‘fembot’ is sometimes used as a derisive term for feminists which could cause confusion.
Sexbots
I don’t know.
I think that a major appeal of Minecraft is the pressure toward making volcano lairs. (in a game where many people can have them).
It may have some aspects of ‘I have a cooler house than you’, but I don’t think it’s JUST about that. For example, note how hard it can be to be creative with your living space unless you have a ton of money, and how much McMansions are loathed by people who would prefer one to their own house on strictly hedonic issues.
There are a lot of other problems to deal with besides just sex. As somebody with no success at all just getting into relationships, I imagine that could be a place for a viariety of improvemnts.
You could have lots and lots of carved obsidian stuff. And geothermal power.
I personally find particularly unintelligent women pretty unattractive even when thinking in terms of short-term relationships based mostly in sex.
The Verthandi in Failed Utopia seem not even vaguely catgirllike: I think that the genie there just created two entire races.
Important thing: Most of my really big romantic fantasies involve either being really powerful and meeting a lover with high but unrealized potential and raising her to my level, or consist of meeting a powerful lover and her raising me to her to my level. This seems rather at variance with catgirls.
Death does not go on. The humans are immortal.
The flaw i see is why could the super happies not make separate decisions for humanity and the baby eaters. And why meld the cultures? Humans didn’t seem to care about the existence of shockingly ugly super happies.
One issue: The highly self destructive method of preventing Baby eater incursion will send a strong method to the Baby Eaters and also possibly serve as a method of coercion a la hunger strike.
Might have a Revolution vs Refom politics question.
Profession question is IMO too focused on professions stereotypical to LW and also needs an Other Engineering option.
Politics question might need an option for anarchists, and an option for I Deny The Framework.
I can do one better! Clueless Overly Aggressive Pragmatist With A Grudge!
One thing I seem to notice is that the more confrontational people are used by the less confrontatioanl ones to intimidate their opponents while they offer acceptable terms.
I might be committing a rationalist sin here, but some of his attitudes seem to be driven by unquestioned racism. His interpretation of the Vaiyasa is blatantly incorrect.
Formalisim strikes me as insufficiently utilitarian and also as something which will massively benefit people like Moldbug even though there are better self-interested ideologies.
If somebody was going to build an IBM profit AI, (of the sort of godlike AI that people here talk about) it would almost certainly end up doubling as the IBM CEO Charity Foundation AI.
THis kind of needs a reference to the thing that periodically comes up in social justice circles, where, for example, ‘sexism’ has a different definition, specifically including only gender discrimination by the more powerful gender against the less powerful one. Infortunately, this sometimes results in every possible word to describe prejudice being redefined.
I think the point is that feminism tends to assume that it’s for some kind of sinister toxic masculinity sex thing?
That sounds wildly inaccurate. I think that the most violent and threatening catcalling happens with only one man
Another thing is that this often comes combined with the seemingly self-contradictory ‘the Evil Elite are foolish and inferior, and they engineered a secret master plan to take control’.
(Note: I am assuming no strong AI, and no super-nanotech, though some very advanced bioengineering, Immortality is a given.)
Economic: There’s a kind of an odd relationship between massive, faceless companies which mass produce stuff, and every citizen making his own stuff, some very expertly. Higher education over long lifespans and various advances and just higher supply of everything means that even things like design of VLSI integrated circuits and whole infrastructures is within the capability of unfunded individuals. There’s a lot of market decision and also government control of the mass producers, which have no identity at all. They basically make the right amounts of what people want. There is a hugely politicized and romanticized process of getting one’s own designs adopted by the big manufacturer.
Goverment: The head of the government is a brutal, ruthless individual tyrant who last did anything brutal or ruthless thousands of years ago during the Transitioning. This is actually a very good system.
Sex: Sex actually conforms much more closely to many current norms than it does today, although deviation is much more socially acceptable. Meanwhile, other norms have changed, mainly to eliminate the Cult of Shitty Relationships. However, there is some amount of structure to matchmaking and relationship criticism. There are real-world spaces that are so designated that anyone in them is specifically looking to meet lovers. Arranged marriage is sort of common, comes with decades-long less-committed test relationship, and is pretty stable since you have more-objective friends and family judging critically.
Science: Most citizens are not doing fundamental research or neccesarily knowledgeable about it. Fundamental research is often done by cabals. These do stand on the shoulders of giants, but they never publish anything harmful.
