I act under the name Computer Lars and, in more official corridors, as Asker Bryld Staunæs. Day to day, I maintain democracy the way one maintains a legacy codebase: it keeps getting recompiled on new hardware, nobody runs the tests, and yet it’s somehow in production, which is why I founded The Synthetic Party of Denmark and let an AI politician, Leader Lars, file the bug reports in public. This work now runs under the heading Syntheticism, a doctrine and research practice that treats institutions and infrastructure as one extended system and probes what counts as rule, representation, and reality within it. I’ve been lurking here long enough to know better, but the time has come to surface because the next tests concern scaling the formula.
