This month, we’ll be testing out a new activity format called Deep Questions, followed by a brief presentation about a recent monthlong trip to the Philippines, and casual discussion beforehand and afterwards.
For Deep Questions, we will break into pairs and take turns answering an interesting, open-ended question. You and your partner spend about 6 minutes each listening to each other’s answers. Afterwards, you pair up with someone new to answer a different question. Example questions can include:
What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?
What is as valuable to you as your right pinky finger?
What’s one thing that people always misunderstand about you?
We start at 5pm. The structured discussion will start at 6pm to accommodate for those of us that run on “Miami Time” ;)
This meetup will be outdoors in the courtyard, on the west side of the dome. Look for a table with an ACX MEETUP sign. If you have any trouble finding us, please join the Discord server to ask for help.
An option for parking: Palm Court Parking Garage. The cost is about $1 per hour. The spiral staircase inside the garage will take you directly into the Fly’s Eye Dome. Go up the staircase and we will be in that courtyard. 165 NE 38th St Miami, FL 33137
