This Friday, Thomas and Jordan are going to teach us how to play disc golf. We’ll be meeting at the Columbia Lake disc golf course. Discs are provided; bring water and sunscreen and dress appropriately.
We’ll aim to start at 6:30 so we can leave before the bugs are out in force. For those who want to arrange their own transportation, meet by the cylindrical structure near “Columbia Lake Fire Pit 2”. There isn’t great transit there, so we’ll also be arranging a few carpools.
Carpool logistics: Meet inside The Shops at Waterloo Town Square—we will congregate in the seating area with the trees sticking out in the middle of the benches next to the Valu-Mart at 6:00. At 6:15, we’ll head out the entrance closest to the Valu Mart and get some rides up by KWR members/Uber.
Parking: Our meetup location is right beside a small gravel lot. Probably it will be very full; if it is, there are plenty of other parking lots nearby.
Pub Afterwards! I’ve reserved some patio tables for 8:30pm at Morty’s. Feel free to join us then!
Programming note...2!: Jenn will be out of town June 22nd and 29th! Now is a good time to think of if there’s a KWR meetup you want to run soon. Which is of course not to say that you can’t run any when I’m in town; you should definitely try to think of meetups at all other times too.
