Projection bias is the tendency to unconsciously assume that others (or one’s future selves) share one’s current emotional states, thoughts and values. (Failure of projection, L3)
Of course, L3, ” extrapolating [...] information forward in time to determine how it will affect future states of the operational environment” includes basically all of the instrumental rationality skills.
