Ì took it. ALL of it.

Took the survey.
The world always makes the assumption that the exposure of an error is identical with the discovery of truth—that the error and truth are simply opposite. They are nothing of the sort. What the world turns to, when it is cured on one error, is usually simply another error, and maybe one worse than the first one.

Please do!
Since April I’ve lost over 10 kg and exercised every weekday.
don’t say/advocate for violence against others, don’t be needlessly rude, don’t use personal attacks.
But those already are the rules on LW......aren’t they?
Um. I upvoted CellBioGuy because I assumed ‘Not just women’ meant ‘Not just women freak out when advancedatheist says stuff like that’. Was my interpretation wrong?
I especially like the way he calls the enemy “the other poor bastard”. And not, say, “the bastard”.
That’s also how this Dutchwoman interprets it. But of course, while it literally refers to the creation of polders, the figurative meaning is ‘faith might have its place, but science and hard work are what solve problems’, like PhilosophyTutor said. (With a little bit of ‘Gee, aren’t we Dutch GREAT?’ thrown in. ;p)
“A tulpa could be described as an imaginary friend that has its own thoughts and emotions, and that you can interact with. You could think of them as hallucinations that can think and act on their own.” https://www.reddit.com/r/tulpas/
IMO the optimal distance is 15-30 minutes by bicycle. That’ll give you some exercise you don’t have to do anything extra for, that doesn’t take a lot of time. I’ve been working from home for close to 2 years now, and my fitness has taken a big hit. I’ve just started to ride my bicycle for about half an hour daily, but the problem is, I don’t really need to do it, so it’s easy to skip it if I’m busy or just don’t feel like it.
Lucky him—his internal persons are friends.
“What we assume to be ‘normal consciousness’ is comparatively rare, it’s like the light in the refrigerator: when you look in, there you are ON but what’s happening when you don’t look in?”

I think it just promotes grasping at straws.
I think it is; I don’t know anything about My Little Pony, and I liked it.
I think people tend not to believe in shyness, unless you’re actually blushing. I used to be shy (still am, depending on the situation). But when I talked about it with my classmates one day, it turned out they actually thought I didn’t want to associate with them and was aloof because I felt superior to them. Nothing could have been farther from the truth...
I am at a loss for words. I really, really want to say something helpful, but I don’t know how. Please, please stop thinking that way! If only I could hug you IRL, I would.
Yes. A while ago I suddenly lost like 50 points (which is a lot for me). The signal that gives isn’t ‘don’t write stuff like this’, but ‘we don’t want you here, go away’, and I almost did.

IMO children being socialized by each other is one of the problems with schools. It’s surprising most people turn out as well as they do...
I have taken the survey. I left a lot of questions blank though, because I really have no opinion about many of them.
