So I guess I just don’t get what looks to me like a strong aversion in you to rationalists looking through Quinean naturalistic philosophy for useful insights. I don’t understand where that aversion is coming from.
Actually an expectation that studying this philosophy stuff would be of no use (or even can harm you), which is a more reflectively reliable judgment than mere emotional aversion. Might be incorrect, but can’t be influenced by arguing that aversion is irrelevant (not that you do argue this way, but summarizing the position with use of that word suggests doing that).
