Стаття 6. Відповідальність за порушення законодавства про статус борців за незалежність України у XX столітті
1. Громадяни України, іноземці, а також особи без громадянства, які публічно виявляють зневажливе ставлення до осіб, зазначених у статті 1 цього Закону, перешкоджають реалізації прав борців за незалежність України у XX столітті, несуть відповідальність відповідно до законодавства.
2. Публічне заперечення факту правомірності боротьби за незалежність України у XX столітті визнається наругою над пам’яттю борців за незалежність України у XX столітті, приниженням гідності Українського народу і є протиправним.

This is a real problem in Poland. On the one hand, Ukrainians are to Poland as Poles are to west Europe (cheap hard labour), so both side want to keep up good relations. On the other hand, Bandera’s boys did play at genocide. On the third hand, they’re the only thing keeping the Russians away. So you get this dance between “our brother Ukrainians need help, let’s show everyone how nice we are” and “they murdered my father and stole my land and now don’t even have the good grace to apologise”.
