I really loved this post on Occam’s Razor. Before encountering it, I basically totally misunderstood the case for using the heuristic, and so (wrongly, I now think) considered it kind of dumb.
I also especially loved “The Second Law of Thermodynamics, and Engines of Cognition,” which gave me a wonderful glimpse (for the first time) into how “laws of inference” ground in laws of physics.
