People in, or adjacent to, the Applied Rationality community seem to be quite enthusiastic about nuclear power. The comment section on the “Safe Enough” Book Review confirms this, but I don’t know where y’all got your evidence/arguments/passion, so let’s talk about it in person!
Still attend if you haven’t done the readings or if you’re not that passionate about the topic! This is a conversational starting point and sub-groups always end up forming.
Location
Enter the Mars Atrium via University Avenue entrance. We’ll meet at the food court in the basement. I’ll be wearing a bright neon yellow jacket.
Detailed Directions to the Food Court
Enter from University Avenue and walk west until you see escalators. Take the escalators down. The food court is to the west of the escalators. If you are lost/confused, ask a security guard to direct you to the food court.
